Lauren ad I have been (happily) busier than ever for the past couple of months photographing many great couples weddings at the most beautiful venues in the Ithaca, Skaneateles, Rochester, and Finger Lakes areas. This includes several weddings at the beautiful and historic Fontainebleau, at a beautiful private residence in Auburn, several weddings at various Cornell University locations (including a particularly fun and fascinating science-themed wedding where guests did a DNA extraction competition, a wedding at the Inn on the Lake in Canandaigua, and several others.
This coming weekend, Lauren and I will be photographing Kris and Adam's wedding at the Farmer's Market here in Ithaca, and on Sunday we'll once again be doing our magic at the Fontainebleau. This past weekend we photographed a great wedding at the Ithaca Yacht Club, and on Sunday I photographed the wedding of Emily and Will at the Fontainebleau. Will is the great, great, great grand son of Ezra Cornell, the founder of Cornell University.
The wedding reception that we photographed at the Ithaca Yacht Club on Saturday featured a truly fabulous magician who moved here recently from Los Angeles (James Warren), and a great caricaturist (Dino Diartist!). We also enjoyed seeing and listening to our talented friends from Cornucopia string quartet once again, and also enjoyed working with Cindy and Roger of Ormonde Entertainment.
Also, this Friday I will have a booth at the annual Artist's Market which I am preparing for right now featuring some of my latest fine-art photography.
Since I haven't done a blog posting in a while, I thought I would upload a few images from several recent weddings and an engagemet session that we've photographed. So here goes....
Here's an image that I created with Ann and Mark in an alleyway in Skaneateles recently. Ann and Mark are from the Rochester area, and Lauren and I photographed their wedding in Victor recently. Ann and Mark make a great couple, and we really enjoyed spending some time with them prior to and during their big day. I'm loving the soft light that I was seeing in this alley way.
