Hello! It's been a particularly busy wedding season for us which we are thankful for (not to mention all of the fabulous weather we've had). Lauren and I have had the opportunity this season to photograph many great couple's highly unique and beautiful weddings at many of our favorite venues so far this season.
This includes several weddings on the Cornell campus (including a wedding reception on the end zone of Schoellkopf Field, a few at the Statler Hotel, a science-themed wedding reception at Trillium Dining Hall), several weddings at the Fontainebleau Inn, a wedding (and reception) at the Ithaca Farmer's Market, a wedding in Pittsford, NY (with the reception at the Victor Country Club), a wedding at the Ithaca Yacht Club, a great wedding at the Skaneateles Country Club, and several other Finger Lakes venues.
This coming Saturday's wedding begins at the Mirbeau Spa and Resort in Skaneateles, with the reception taking place at the Skaneateles Country Club with several additional weddings to take place at the Fontainebleau and Cornell (and we just booked another at the Aurora Inn).
I've also had the pleasure of doing several engagement photography shoots at various area locations to include Taughannock Falls, various Cornell locations, and more recently one at the Aurora Inn on the east side of Cayuga Lake (as well as participating in the annual Artist's Market held one per year at the Ithaca Farmer's Market). The engagement photography shoot I did most recently was with a fabulous couple, Ashlee and Michael. Ashley and Michael's wedding will be taking place at the fabulous Fontainebleau Inn this October.
Ashley, Michael, and I recently drove together from my studio in Ithaca to the Aurora Inn which was a lot of fun. I scheduled the appointment so that we would be arriving at the Aurora Inn just prior to sunset which is when the light is the most spectacular (as in warm, subtle, and beautiful).
Here are a few images from this beautiful and intimate early evening that we spent together on Cayuga Lake:
