Hi Everyone,
It's been a good while since I last posted something to this blog. I recently took a bit of time off to go to Florida Keys over the holidays to warm up a bit which was a good thing to do. Our airline flight back to upstate New York did incur some mechanical problems prior to departure from Fort Lauderdale, so we ended up spending one more day there than originally planned.
Allegedly a lot of couples become engaged over the holidays which appears to be true once again this year. Bookings were slow in December, but are increasing dramatically this month (with three new contracts sent out this week alone).
I am still assisting my good friend Shai Eynav (a very talented fellow photographer) to market and sell his very unique and useful strapless camera carrying system known as the "Spider Holster" to professional photographers throughout the world.
Hence, last week, Shai, Frank DiMeo (another talented photographer from this area), and I had a booth at Mystic 6 which is a three-day photographic convention that takes place each year in Mystic, CT. The show was a smaller one, but featured many world-class photographers as presenters and as attendees. We did very well there since more than one in every two attendees purchased our product there (out of the approximately two hundred and fifty photographers in attendance).
This coming month we'll be going back to WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) in Las Vegas to once again dazzle the twenty three thousand photographers there with the Spider Holster as well as our new consumer version, "The Black Widow". Last year we were told that we were the most talked about innovative product at the show out of the several hundred other vendors who were there which certainly felt great.
We are also planning on having a booth at next January's professional phootgraphy convention in London, England so we're truly going international. Our booth at this year's trade show will be twice as large as the one we had last year since we were overwhelmed with interested photographers who wanted to try and purchase our product.
In any event, that's it for the moment. Lauren and I very much look forward to being of exceptional service to you this coming season!
Sincerley,
Robert
