Hi Everyone,
The 2011 wedding season is finally picking up some major momentum in terms of significantly increased bookings as well as much more communication with enthusiastic couples (which of course are my favorite kind!). This past weekend, I've scheduled three new engagement photography shoots for the next two weekends which I'm confident will be a lot of fun and a great way to do some pre-wedding bonding with several soon-to-be newly-weds.
These shoots will all take place at outdoor locations (at Taughannock Falls, at Cornell, and on University Ave in Rochester) hence it feels great to see increasingly optimistic signs of Spring weather-wise.
Speaking of enthusiastic couples, I just received an email message from a very enthusiastic bride (Brennan) who's wedding Lauren and I will be photographing at the Fontainebleau (the great venue that it is!) the first weekend in June. Here's her message:
Hello Robert!
I just realized about a week ago that we have not had our engagement photo session with you!
I was wondering what your availabilities are on Sundays and Mondays in the coming weeks. Also, we need to discuss photo times for the wedding. Paul and I will not be seeing each other from after the rehearsal dinner until I am actually walking down the aisle, so we would like to take a majority of the pictures before the ceremony.
At least, all of the ones that we are not in together. We have five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, as well as two flower girls. So we simply need to discuss all of that!
Please get back to me when you get this. Thanks so much! I'm getting super excited because whenever I tell people that you are doing my wedding, mountains of praise are sent my way about your work! Apparently, you are the best around so I am feeling like one lucky Bride!!!!!! :)
Hope to hear from you soon,
Brennan
