I recently had the pleasure of enjoying some time with Nicole and Phil, a truly great couple during their engagement photography session at Cornell.
Since it was raining heavily the day we scheduled the photography session, I decided to do the photography at Goldwin Smith Hall on the Cornell arts quad. Nicole and Phil's wedding will be taking place this coming July.
Nicole and Phil were great (and fun) to work with, and weren't phased by the heavy rain that day one bit.
When I do photography sessions, I frequently don't know specifically how I'm going to approach each session (since I rely on intuition). But I do know from years of experience that I'll always come away with some truly unique and tasteful imagery that will say something honest and beautiful about each couple I photograph.
Goldwin Smith Hall is a fascinating old building with the sort of character one would expect to find at an Ivy League campus.
